1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2001
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 2001, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 2, by replacing line 5 with the following:
5 "shall be funded using federal civil monetary penalties
6 collected and deposited into the Long Term Care
7 Monitor/Receiver Fund established under the Nursing"; and
8 on page 3, by replacing line 7 with the following:
9 "recommendations of the commission and after a thorough
10 review of the compliance history of the long-term care
11 facility."; and
12 by replacing line 32 on page 3 and line 1 on page 4 with the
13 following:
14 "With the approval of the federal centers for Medicaid
15 and Medicare services, the Director of Public Health shall
16 set aside 50% of the federal civil monetary penalties
17 collected each year to be used to".
