92_SB2202eng SB2202 Engrossed LRB9212579AGmb 1 AN ACT concerning health facilities. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act 5 is amended by adding Section 6.2 as follows: 6 (20 ILCS 3960/6.2 new) 7 Sec. 6.2. After the effective date of this amendatory 8 Act of the 92nd General Assembly, no permit or fee shall be 9 required to establish, construct, or modify a mental health 10 facility operated by the Department of Human Services if the 11 establishment, construction, or modification has been 12 approved by the General Assembly, funds have been 13 appropriated by the General Assembly, and the approval and 14 appropriation have become law. The Board may request of the 15 Department information concerning the establishment, 16 construction, or modification as may be necessary to further 17 the performance of the Board's duties and responsibilities. 18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 19 becoming law.
