92_SR0011 LRB9203858KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 convey their sincere condolences to the family and friends of 4 Joanne M. Wicks of Aurora, Illinois, who recently passed 5 away; and 6 WHEREAS, Joanne Wicks was born in Aurora, Illinois on 7 November 14, 1948; her parents are Gale C. Wicks and the late 8 Mary C. Wicks; and 9 WHEREAS, Joanne Wicks was known as "Jobey" by her loved 10 ones; she was a graduate of Madonna High School in Aurora; 11 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education 12 from Northern Illinois University; she was an award winning 13 painter whose artwork toured Europe; and 14 WHEREAS, The passing of Joanne Wicks is deeply felt by 15 her loved ones, including her loving father, Gale C. Wicks; 16 her brothers and sister, Larry G. (wife, Arlene) Wicks, Judy 17 (husband, Patrick) Flaherty, and John (wife, Carol) Wicks; 18 her nephews and nieces, Bob (wife, Kathy) Wicks, Benjamin 19 Flaherty, Mark Flaherty, Katie Flaherty, and Daniel Flaherty; 20 her grand nephews, Matthew Wicks and Eric Wicks; and her 21 many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 24 her family and friends, the passing of Joanne M. Wicks of 25 Aurora, Illinois; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to the family of Joanne M. Wicks.
