1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 convey their sincere condolences to the family and friends of
4 Mary C. Wicks of Aurora, Illinois, who recently passed away;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Mary Wicks was born in Seneca, Illinois on
7 October 27, 1921; her parents were Herman and Catherine
8 (Sheffer) Schaefer; and
9 WHEREAS, Mary Wicks was a member of Holy Angels Church in
10 Aurora; and
11 WHEREAS, The passing of Mary Wicks is deeply felt by her
12 loved ones, including her loving husband, Gale C. Wicks; her
13 children, Larry G. (wife, Arlene) Wicks, Judy (husband,
14 Patrick) Flaherty, and John (wife, Carol) Wicks; her
15 grandchildren, Bob (wife, Kathy) Wicks, Benjamin Flaherty,
16 Mark Flaherty, Katie Flaherty, and Daniel Flaherty; her
17 great-grandchildren, Matthew Wicks and Eric Wicks; her
18 brothers, Joe Schaefer and Herman (wife, Carol) Schaefer; her
19 sister, Sylvia (husband, Dick) Redmond; and her many nieces
20 and nephews; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
23 her family and friends, the passing of Mary C. Wicks of
24 Aurora, Illinois; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Mary C. Wicks.
