1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Robert J. Bobb, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Bobb was a retired General Electric
6 Executive; most recently, he was the valued advisor and
7 partner with his son, Kent, in various businesses; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Bobb was devoted to community and charitable
9 organizations, including his activities on the boards of
10 Morraine Valley Community College Foundation and St.
11 Coletta's of Palos Park, and as a supporter of Blue Cap
12 School, Crisis Center of South Suburbia, Park Lawn Training
13 Center of Oak Lawn, and the YMCA; and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Robert J. Bobb will be deeply
15 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
16 Marge; his children, Robert Jr. (wife, Patti) and Kenton
17 (wife, Janet); and his grandchildren, Julie, Amy, Kristopher,
18 and Brooke; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
21 all who knew him, the death of Robert J. Bobb of Palos Park,
22 Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Robert J. Bobb with our sincere
25 condolences.
