92_SR0112 LRB9208706RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of William Joseph Werrline, Jr., who passed away on April 5, 5 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, William Joseph Werrline, Jr. was born on April 7 24, 1929 in Aurora, Illinois to the late William J. and 8 Kathryn Werrline, Sr.; he was a 1947 graduate of Marion 9 Military Academy; he was a veteran of the United States Navy; 10 and 11 WHEREAS, Mr. Werrline was a gifted musician and organized 12 the "Blue Note Band", in which he played the accordian; the 13 band played for many occasions around the Fox Valley area and 14 its surrounding communities; he was also a member of the 15 Elgin Musicians Union Local #48, formerly Local #181, for 16 fifty years; and 17 WHEREAS, The passing of William Joseph Werrline, Jr. will 18 be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his 19 wife, Doris; his children, Sherry (husband, Jim) Pollock, 20 Bill (wife, Sandi) Werrline, John (wife, Shelly) Werrline, 21 Steven (wife, Jetta) Werrline, Tim (wife, Sharon) Werrline, 22 Rick (wife, Laurie) Werrline, and Mark (wife, Mary) Werrline; 23 his stepchildren, Julie (husband, Joe) Potter and Jeff (wife, 24 Cherie) Rasmussen; his twenty-four grandchildren, Anne, 25 Emily, Megan, Larry, Blake, Sadie, Danny, and Stephanie 26 Pollock, Bill (wife, Laurie) Werrline, Kathy (husband, Chris 27 Mosher) Werrline, Sarah (husband, Micah Benuska) Werrline, 28 Alyse Werrline, Johnny Werrline, Steven Werrline, Colton 29 Werrline, Katie Werrline, Brittany, Samantha, Ashley, and 30 Kari Werrline, and Mark, Ryan, Adam, and Matthew Werrline; 31 his step-grandchildren, Jacob Potter and Joshua Potter; his 32 six great-grandchildren, Billy Werrline V, Kyle, Chelsey, and -2- LRB9208706RHrh 1 Luke Werrline, Christian Mosher and Alyssa Benuska; his aunt, 2 Mildren Kifowit; and his cousins, Ed Kifowit and Jim (wife, 3 Marilyn) Kifowit; therefore, be it 4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 6 all who knew him, the death of William Joseph Werrline, Jr. 7 of Aurora, Illinois; and be it further 8 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 9 presented to the family of William Joseph Werrline, Jr. with 10 our sincere condolences.
