 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Illinois  Senate  wish  to
 3    express  their  sincere condolences to the family and friends
 4    of Michael Joseph Duggan, Sr., who passed away on October 11,
 5    2001; and

 6        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Duggan  was  born  on  March  5,  1915  in
 7    Knockavilla, Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland; and

 8        WHEREAS, Mr. Duggan was the past principal officer of the
 9    Builder's Tee Club and the  past  president  of  the  Beverly
10    Country Club; and

11        WHEREAS,  The  passing of Michael Joseph Duggan, Sr. will
12    be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially  his
13    wife,  Julia  "Sis"  Duggan  (nee  O'Connor);  his  children,
14    Virginia (husband, Bernard) Murphy, Phyllis (husband, Alfred)
15    Wieher,  Judy (husband, Frank) O'Hare, Terry (husband, Kevin)
16    McGinnis, Nancy (husband,  the  late  James)  McDermott,  and
17    Michael  (wife,  Jean)  Duggan;  his  brother  Patrick (wife,
18    Noreen) Duggan; his sister, Mary (husband, the late  Michael)
19    Brennan;  his  grandchildren,  Bernard  (wife,  Amy), Michael
20    (wife, Donna), Morgan and Joseph  Murphy,  Michael,  Timothy,
21    and  Lauren Wieher, Shannon, Bridget, Frank and Billy O'Hare,
22    Kevin, Martin and Daniel McGinnis, James and Coleen McDermott
23    and Erin (husband, Tim) Blader, Michael, Deirdre,  Grace  and
24    Jack  Duggan;  his great-grandchildren, Hannah, Cara, Michael
25    and Grace Elizabeth Murphy; and his many nieces and  nephews;
26    he  was  preceded  in  death by his brothers, the late Thomas
27    (wife, the late Lydia) Duggan and the late James  (wife,  the
28    late Helen) Duggan; therefore, be it

29        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
30    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along  with
31    all  who knew him, the death of Michael Joseph Duggan, Sr. of
32    Hinsdale, Illinois; and be it further

 1        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
 2    presented  to  the  family of Michael Joseph Duggan, Sr. with
 3    our sincere condolences.
