92_SR0257 LRB9210783RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Vickie Nelson Miller, who passed away on October 12, 2001; 5 and 6 WHEREAS, Vickie Nelson Miller was the youngest of three 7 children born to the union of Gloria Jean Barnes and Willie 8 B. Nelson, Sr.; she was the wife of the late Harold "Shag" 9 Miller; and 10 WHEREAS, Mrs. Miller was employed as an over the road 11 truck driver for Bono Burns Trucking Company; she was also a 12 member of the Greater Faith Christian Church in Centreville, 13 Illinois; and 14 WHEREAS, The passing of Vickie Nelson Miller will be 15 deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her 16 parents, Willie B. and GLoria Jean Barnes Nelson, Sr.; her 17 brother, Willie B. Nelson, Jr.; her sister, Lavonda Denise 18 Nelson; her maternal grandmother, Sammie Barnes; and a host 19 of nieces, nephews, aunts, great-aunts, uncles, great-uncles, 20 other relatives, and many friends; therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 23 all who knew her, the death of Vickie Nelson Miller of 24 Washington Park, Illinois; and be it further 25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 26 presented to the family of Vickie Nelson Miller with our 27 sincere condolences.
