92_SR0338 LRB9216220BHbh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 3 to learn of the death of Donald Brajkovich of Pekin, who 4 passed away February 16, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Mr. Brajkovich was born February 10, 1929, in 6 Cleveland, Ohio, to John Joseph and Lucille Marie Jacovich 7 Brajkovich; he married Vi G. Baker on November 16, 1963, in 8 Pekin; and 9 WHEREAS, Mr. Brajkovich was a Korean War Army veteran, a 10 member of the William Schaefer American Legion Post 44, and a 11 55-year member of Carpenters Local 644; following retirement 12 from the construction business, he worked at Immaculate 13 Conception Convent in Peoria; and 14 WHEREAS, Mr. Brajkovich was a member of St. Joseph's 15 Catholic Church in Pekin and the Knights of Columbus 16 Archbishop Schlarman Council 3507; and 17 WHEREAS, Donald Brajkovich will be deeply missed by all 18 those who knew him and loved him, especially his wife, Vi; 19 his daughters, Jennifer (Joe) Kremp and Rebecca (Mike) 20 Quigley; his two grandsons; his brothers, John (Marge) 21 Brajkovich and the Reverend Thomas Brajkovich; his sisters, 22 Shirley Brajkovich and Joan (Rich) Oliver; and his foster 23 sister, Donna Johns; therefore, be it 24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 26 his family and friends, the passing of Donald F. Brajkovich; 27 and be it further 28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be sent 29 to his wife, Vi Brajkovich.
