1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the passing of Lorraine A. Murray, M.A., of Park
4 Ridge, who passed away on March 11, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Murray was a longtime resident of Park
6 Ridge and an adjunct faculty instructor of history and
7 government at Oakton Community College for 22 years; and
8 WHEREAS, Mrs. Murray was appointed by Governor Ryan to
9 the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University;
10 she was also a past Republican precinct captain in Park
11 Ridge; and
12 WHEREAS, Lorraine A. Murray will be deeply missed by all
13 those who knew her and loved her, especially her husband,
14 John; her children, Stephen (Gloria) Murray, Robert and
15 Christine Murray; and her grandson, Craig Murray; therefore,
16 be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
19 her family and friends, the death of Lorraine A. Murray of
20 Park Ridge; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to her family with our sincere condolences.
