1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincerest condolences to the family and friends
4 of Linda S. Milewski, who passed away on August 2, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Linda S. Milewski was born on August 27, 1956 in
6 Chicago to Henry and Dorothy Sokolowski; and
7 WHEREAS, Mrs. Milewski was an active member and vice
8 president of the school's teachers union local 504; she had
9 worked for Waukegan School District 60 for 14 years and was a
10 fifth grade teacher at Glen Flora School; and
11 WHEREAS, The passing of Linda S. Milewski will be deeply
12 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband,
13 Louis Milewski; her children, Amanda Milewski and Andrew
14 Milewski; her parents, Henry and Dorothy Sokolowski; her
15 brother, Douglas (wife, Carol) Sokolowski; and her nieces,
16 Taylor and Dana Sokolowski and Elizabeth Roberts; therefore,
17 be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 all who knew her, the death of Linda S. Milewski of Waukegan;
21 and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Linda S. Milewski with our sincere
24 condolences.
