1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Florence M. Zito of Palos Hills, who passed away on
5 September 3, 2002; and
6 WHEREAS, Florence M. Zito was born on December 23, 1925
7 in Chicago; she was the loving daughter of the late Emilio
8 and Rose Fillippo and she was the beloved wife of Charles
9 Zito; and
10 WHEREAS, Florence M. Zito was a devoted wife, mother and
11 grandmother, a longtime member of Sacred Heart A.C.C.W. and a
12 loyal and compassionate friend to all who knew her; and
13 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family
14 and friends, especially her husband, Charles; her children,
15 Frank (Barbara), Charles (Patricia), Terri (Edward) Arrigoni,
16 and Gina (Joseph) Bracken; seven grandchildren and one
17 great-grandchild; her sisters and brothers, Jennie Giglio,
18 Lee Logullo, Antoinette (Mike) Giordano, Muff LaRocco, Nancy
19 (Edward) Greco, William (Betty) Fillippo and Dorothy
20 Mahoney; her many nieces and nephews; and her many friends;
21 she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Amendola;
22 therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
24 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
25 all who knew her, the death of Florence M. Zito; and be it
26 further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to the family of Florence M. Zito with our sincere
29 condolences.
