1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened
3 to learn of the death of William B. "Willie" Ishmael of
4 Greenview, who passed away on August 27, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Ishmael was born on December 16, 1940 in
6 Oakford; he was the son of Cloyde and Beulah Blair Ishmael;
7 in 1961 he married Mary E. Boehm in Petersburg; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Ishmael was a U.S. Navy veteran and served
9 in the Seabees from 1960 through 1964; he was a lifelong
10 farmer and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the
11 Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association; and
12 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by all who knew
13 and loved him especially his wife Mary E.; his daughters
14 Michelle Ishmael and Lisa (husband, Pat) Davis; one son
15 Michael (wife, Jennifer) Ishmael; his four grandchildren; his
16 parents Cloyde and Beulah Ishmael; his three brothers Wayne
17 (wife, Connie) Ishmael, Warren (wife, Nancy) Ishmael, and Sam
18 (wife, Janice) Ishmael; his sisters Wandalee (husband, Rich)
19 King and Sarah (husband, Melvin) Witherall; five nieces; 11
20 nephews; and his many cousins; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
23 and regret the passing of William B. Ishmael and extend our
24 respect to his family and friends; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of William B. Ishmael.
