92_SR0525 LRB9218039HShs 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened 3 to learn of the death of Marjorie A. Mazzotti on Sunday, 4 September 22, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Marjorie A. Mazzotti was born on October 7, 1938 6 in Champaign, the daughter of Paul H. and Margaret Walston 7 Evans; in 1976 she married Joseph Mazzotti in Bay St. Louis, 8 Mississippi; he preceded her in death in 1998; and 9 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mazzotti was a dance instructor for many 10 years; she was a member of First United Methodist Church in 11 Taylorville, Haslemere Chapter 221 Order of the Eastern Star, 12 Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority and Dance Instructors of 13 America; she was named 2001 National Coach of the Year by the 14 U.S. Trampoline & Tumbling Association; and 15 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mazzotti will be sadly missed by countless 16 family and friends including two sons, Rick (wife, Lori) 17 Stout, and Mike (wife, Debra) Stout; a daughter, Becky 18 (husband, Ron) Adams; a stepson, Johnn (wife, Becky) 19 Mazzotti; eight grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren; 20 therefore be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 23 and regret the death of Marjorie A. Mazzotti and extend our 24 sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it 25 further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to the family of Marjorie A. Mazzotti.
