92_SR0539 LRB9218126HShs 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, the Senate of the State of Illinois was saddened 3 to learn of the death of Carmen M. Vinezeano on October 8, 4 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Mr. Vinezeano was born May 25, 1932 in Chicago 6 to Carmen J. and Anna Marietta Vinezeano; he was a 1952 7 graduate of Hirsch High School in Chicago; and 8 WHEREAS, He moved to Rolling Meadows to work for Northrop 9 Grumman Corporation; he was given one of the highest-level 10 security clearances by the company; he retired as supervisor 11 in the Q.R.C. Division of Northrop Grumman Corporation after 12 37 years; and 13 WHEREAS, A resident of Rolling Meadows for 40 years, he 14 was very active in the community; he organized the Fourth of 15 July parades and served as parade marshal for 25 years; he 16 was the director of Civil Defense, a member of the Rolling 17 Meadows Jaycees and the Rolling Meadows Chamber of Commerce; 18 he started the United Way in Rolling Meadows and was involved 19 in the Crusade of Mercy; and 20 WHEREAS, Mr. Vinezeano was actively involved in St. 21 Colette Church; he was a member of the Men's Club, an usher, 22 and was involved in the development of the parish center; he 23 also served as a referee for AYSO Soccer Leagues; and 24 WHEREAS, Mr. Vinezeano will be missed by his family and 25 friends, especially his wife, Berniece F. (nee Bambick); his 26 children, Keven M. (Julie), Michelle C. (David) Mehall, 27 Christine B. (John) Faflik, Sandra M. (Gary) Haeger, Karen R. 28 (James) Grose, Brian J. (Patricia), Steven C., Patrick A., 29 Carmen Gene, David F.; grandchildren Heather (Jeremy) 30 Atencio, Matthew, Tyler, Stephanie, Laura, Megan, Anthony, 31 Daniel, Nicholas, Jennifer, Katie Marie, Joshua, Valerie, -2- LRB9218126HShs 1 Amanda, Emily, Jessica, Jacob, Caitlyn, and Bronwyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Antonio and Adrianna; and siblings, 3 Joseph (Ruth), Catherine (William) Anderson, Anthony 4 (Jeanne), and Claire (Donald) Anderson; therefore, be it 5 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 6 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 7 the passing of a valuable citizen and extend our condolences 8 to the family of Carmen M. Vinezeano; and be it further 9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 10 presented to the family of Carmen M. Vinezeano.
