1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of the Honorable
4 Joseph J. Kaptur on November 21, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Kaptur was born on February 28, 1916; in
6 addition to his many activities in service to the citizens of
7 the Village of Palos Park, he was the former chairman of the
8 Palos Park Zoning Board of Appeals; and
9 WHEREAS, He had a wonderful spirit about life and lived
10 it to the fullest; he will be sadly missed; and
11 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by all his
12 friends and family, especially his wife, Rosemary, the former
13 mayor of Palos Park; his children, Casey (Julie), Mark
14 (Deanie), and Tom (Annette); and his grandchildren, Josh
15 (Kristy), Mike, Joseph, Allison, Hannah, Sarah, Kirby and
16 Tommy; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
19 Joseph J. Kaptur, along with all who knew and loved him, and
20 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Joseph J. Kaptur.
