92_SR0558 LRB9218240HShs 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Illinois was saddened 3 to learn of the untimely death of Tyler B. Caruso of St. 4 Charles on Sunday, July 14, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Tyler was born February 16, 1985 to Anthony and 6 Marilyn (Woodward) Caruso; he attended St. Charles East High 7 School; and 8 WHEREAS, Tyler was an active member of student 9 government, and served as president of his class during his 10 freshman and sophomore years, and vice president of the 11 executive board of the student council during his junior 12 year; he was scheduled to serve as president of the same 13 board during his senior year; and 14 WHEREAS, Tyler was scheduled to be the starting middle 15 linebacker and a captain for the St. Charles East High School 16 Saints; he also excelled in his studies and was selected for 17 the academic all-conference football team as well as the 18 National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society; and 19 WHEREAS, He was an active participant in several 20 extra-curricular organizations; he was a member of Peer 21 Leadership, Principal's Advisory Council, Helping Others 22 Protect Each Other, St. Charles Downtown Partnership, DARE, 23 Jazz Workshop, and wind ensemble; and 24 WHEREAS, The loss of Tyler has been felt by many, 25 especially his parents, Anthony and Marilyn (Woodward) 26 Caruso; his brother, Cameron Alexander; his maternal 27 grandmother, Flossie Maynard Woodward; his aunts, Rebecca 28 Woodward (Morris Richard) Smith and Cecelia Caruso (Donald) 29 Mathis; his uncles, Ramon Joseph (Dorothy) Caruso and 30 Randolph Joseph Caruso; his cousins, Laurel Smith Newby, 31 William Matthew Smith, Paul Joseph Caruso, Andrea Marie -2- LRB9218240HShs 1 Caruso, Margaret Ann Caruso, Tara Marie Petersen and Michael 2 Alan Caruso; therefore, be it 3 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing 5 of Tyler B. Caruso and express our sincere condolences to his 6 family and friends; and be it further 7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 8 presented to the family of Tyler B. Caruso.
