92_SR0578 LRB9218252HShs 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, Members of the Senate of the State of Illinois 3 were saddened to learn of the death of James R. Caine of St. 4 Charles on Friday, September 6, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Mr. Caine was born August 25, 1947 in Red Wing, 6 Minnesota, the son of Robert and Arlene Caine; and 7 WHEREAS, Mr. Caine was an active and energetic community 8 member; he was a member and Elder at Fox Valley Presbyterian 9 Church in Geneva; he was a member of the St. Charles and 10 Geneva Chamber of Commerce; he coached Tri City football, 11 soccer and softball; he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi; and 12 WHEREAS, Mr. Caine was a salesman for most of his life 13 and was recently employed by AMI in Geneva; he was an avid 14 supporter of high school sports and formerly served as 15 president of the St. Charles High School Booster Club; and 16 WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Caine has been deeply felt by 17 many, especially his wife, Linda; his daughters, Kimberly 18 (Thomas) Ehrnman, Melissa Caine, and Carrie Caine; his son, 19 Jim; his mother, Arlene Caine Whitehead; his brothers, Robert 20 (Shirley) Caine and John Caine; and his sister, Nancy (Mike) 21 Canning; therefore, be it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing 24 of James R. Caine and offer our sincere condolences to his 25 family and many friends; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to the family of James R. Caine.
