Provides that the total amount of all liens under those Acts and subrogation claims may not exceed one-third of the sum paid to an injured person based on a claim or a right of action. Effective June 1, 2001. JUDICIAL NOTE (Office of the Illinois Courts) HB 157 would neither increase nor decrease the number of judges needed in the State. FISCAL NOTE (Office of the Illinois Courts) HB 157 would have no fiscal impact on the judicial branch.
