SCHOENBERG. 30 ILCS 105/6z-43 Amends the State Finance Act. Provides that tobacco settlement proceeds paid to the State may not be used for any purpose related to the issuance of bonds, the payment of principal or interest on bonds, or the payment of any other costs in connection with bonds, except bonds issued to finance projects related to public health. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (State Treasurer) HB 734 only restricts the use of funds. Therefore, it does not increase or decrease State revenues or expenditures.
