DANIELS-MOORE. 815 ILCS 413/25 Amends the Telephone Solicitations Act. Provides that the language prohibiting a person engaged in telephone solicitation from obtaining or submitting for payment without the person's express written consent any item of negotiable paper drawn on a person's account or on a bond does not apply to the following: a publicly traded corporation, a retail company whose parent company is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Secretary of State, or a sale by a retailer soliciting from a consumer with whom the retailer has an existing business relationship. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes everything. Amends the Telephone Solicitations Act. Makes a technical change in a provision regarding violations.
