Increases the amount of unused, uncompensated sick leave for which a teacher may receive service credit upon retirement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) The System's actuary has estimated that HB 1740 would increase the accrued liability of TRS by $25.9 million. The estimated increase in normal cost is $1.7 million in fiscal year 2002 or 0.02% of payroll.
