DAVIS,STEVE-HOLBROOK-HOFFMAN. 820 ILCS 405/604 from Ch. 48, par. 434 Amends provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Act making an individual ineligible for benefits if the individual's unemployment is due to a stoppage of work because of a labor dispute unless the individual is not participating in or directly interested in the labor dispute which caused the stoppage of work and the individual does not belong to a grade or class of workers participating in or directly interested in the dispute. Provides that a lockout by the employer or an individual's failure to cross a picket line may not, in itself or "in combination with the individual's right to terms or conditions of employment offered or ultimately provided to members of a collective bargaining unit other than his or hers as a result of the labor dispute", be deemed to be participation by the individual or a direct interest on the individual's part in the labor dispute.
