DELGADO-SOTO-YARBROUGH. (OBAMA) 730 ILCS 5/5-4-1 from Ch. 38, par. 1005-4-1 Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Requires the court, at the sentencing hearing of the defendant, to afford certain persons affected by any of the following offenses committed by the defendant an opportunity to make a statement concerning the impact of the offense on the victim and to offer evidence in aggravation or mitigation: Class 4 felony violations of prostitution, soliciting for a prostitute, keeping a place of prostitution, patronizing a prostitute, patronizing a juvenile prostitute, or pimping. FISCAL NOTE (Illinois Courts Administrative Office) HB 4200 would have no fiscal impact on the judicial branch. JUDICIAL NOTE (Illinois Courts Administrative Office) HB 4200 would neither increase nor decrease the number of judges needed in the State.
