(WALSH,L) 20 ILCS 105/4.02 from Ch. 23, par. 6104.02 Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging by providing that vendors of homemaker, chore, and housekeeping services shall receive a rate increase of $1.37 per hour. Effective July 1, 2002. FISCAL NOTE (Department on Aging) There will be an estimated 17.6 million units of homemaker service provided during FY03. Increasing the homemaker vendor rate from $10.56 per hour to $11.93 per hour would initially cost the Department an estimated $24,112,000 (17.6 million homemaker service units x $1.37 per unit).
