RONEN. 65 ILCS 5/11-20-3.1 new Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a municipality may provide for the regulation, licensing, and inspection of any retail business or establishment selling cigarettes or other tobacco products. Provides that the corporate authorities of a municipality may determine the number of licenses to sell tobacco products issued within the municipality and determine the location for sale of cigarettes or other tobacco products.
