LAUZEN. New Act Creates the Tobacco Settlement Proceeds for Investigational Clinical Cancer Trials Act. Provides that up to 10% of the amounts distributed by the State from tobacco settlement proceeds shall be dedicated to assist in the payment for services provided under a qualified investigational clinical cancer trials program. Describes the criteria for selecting program participants. Requires the Department of Public Health to establish and administer the program. Effective immediately.
