HALVORSON. New Act Creates the Violent Video Game Warning Act. Requires a person or business offering for sale, lease, or rent any video game containing graphic violence to conspicuously display a warning sign at the entrance and exit of the business establishment stating that the business offers those video games and advising parental supervision of the purchase, rental, or lease of those games. Provides that a violation of the Act is a petty offense, punishable by a fine not to exceed $250.
