   215 ILCS 5/155.39 new                                                       

        Amends the Illinois Insurance Code.  Provides that  insurers  may      
   not  establish  premium rates for homeowners or renters insurance that      
   are based upon the insured's or applicant's credit  report  or  credit      
   score.  Effective immediately.
