Short description: PEN CD-CHGO FIRE-WIDOW MINIMUM Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Chicago Firefighter Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides a minimum widow's annuity for the widow of a fireman who dies on or after July 1, 1997 while an active fireman with at least 10 years of creditable service. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
