Short description: 
CUSTODY-PICK UP KIDS AT SCHOOL                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Code of  Criminal  Procedure  of  1963,  the  Illinois      
   Marriage  and  Dissolution of Marriage Act, the Illinois Parentage Act      
   of 1984, and the Illinois Domestic Violence  Act  of  1986.   Provides      
   that  if  an order of protection or an order issued under the Illinois      
   Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act or the Illinois Parentage Act      
   of 1984 contains a provision for custody or visitation with respect to      
   a child who is enrolled in school, the order must contain a  statement      
   as  to which of the child's parents is authorized to pick up the child      
   at the school and must also state the name of any other person who  is      
   authorized  to  pick  up the child at the school.  If both parents are      
   authorized to pick up the child at the school, the  order  must  state      
   that  authorization.   Provides that after the entry of such an order,      
   the custodial parent must notify the affected school.                       
          JUDICIAL NOTE (Office of the Illinois Courts)                        
          HB 1066 would neither increase nor decrease the number of            
          judges needed in the State.                                          
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Provides that the bill's amendatory provisions  requiring  notice      
   are applicable to pre-schools and child care facilities, as well as to      
   schools.
