Provides that not more than 3 of the 4 active teachers elected to the Board of Trustees may be active members of the same statewide teacher organization, beginning with the election of trustees in 2003. Also makes technical changes. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) HB1703 would not have a fiscal impact on the Teachers' Retirement System.
