Provides that when a prospective park district employee submits his or her required authorization for a background investigation, the park district may (now, shall) submit the applicant's name, sex, race, date of birth, and social security number to the Department of State Police for a criminal history background investigation. Provides that this investigation is not required for any minor, seasonal employee, or previously investigated employee rehired with 18 months. Effective immediately.
