Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
Provides that a person or entity that, by means of telemarketing,
offers free goods or services to an Illinois consumer on a trial
basis and assesses a periodic fee or charge for the goods or services
after the end of the free trial period, must send a consumer who

periodic fee or charge after the end of the free trial period.
Provides that a violation constitutes an unlawful practice under the
   Act.
