$DOT-PUBLIC SAFETY STUDY                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $2 from the General Revenue Fund to  the  Department      
   of Transportation to study issues concerning public safety.  Effective      
   July 1, 2001.                                                               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Deletes everything.  Makes appropriations to various agencies for      
   public safety in addition to any other amounts appropriated for public      
   safety. Effective July 1, 2001.
