Provides that the municipal clerk must publish the municipal treasurer's annual account or a notice of the account (now, the clerk must publish the account) in one or more newspapers published in the municipality or in general circulation within the municipality. Provides that the notice must state that a copy of the account is available for public inspection or may be obtained from the clerk's office at no charge.
