Provides that minimum procedures with respect to medical staff and clinical privilege determinations shall include a written notice of an adverse decision subject to a fair hearing. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 210 ILCS 5/6.19 new Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Requires that each hospital licensed under the Act have a written policy to address the use of restraints or seclusion in the hospital. Provides that restraints or seclusion may only be ordered by a physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches or a registered nurse with supervisory responsibilities as authorized by the medical staff.
