CHIP ACT FEDERALLY ELIGIBLE                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Comprehensive Health  Insurance  Plan  Act.   Provides      
   that  a federally eligible individual is not deemed ineligible because      
   the individual is eligible for coverage under part  A  or  part  B  of      
   Medicare if the eligibility for Medicare is not due to age.  Effective      
   immediately.
