Contains provisions similar to those in the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, except that it applies to a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, father-in-law, or mother-in-law who has a serious health condition, and some of the provisions of the Federal law pertaining to federal employees and federal matters have been deleted or changed.
