Provides that payment for certain unused sick leave may be included in the determination of the final rate of earnings, if authorized in a collective bargaining agreement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) HB 3187 increases the amount of earnings that may be used to determine the final rate of earnings for SURS members. However, the size of the increase in the final rate of earnings and the number of employees affected cannot be determined, making any estimate of the fiscal impact purely speculative.
