House Sponsors: KURTZ. Short description: CNTY CD-ZONING-SPECIAL USES Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Counties Code. Provides that notice of a public hearing on a special use request must be given not less than 30 and not more than 45 days before the date of the hearing (now, notice must be given not less than 15 days before the date of the hearing). Expands the adjacent owners to whom notice must be given. Provides that the petitioner or applicant must give the required notice. Requires an ordinance granting a special use to be adopted by a three-fourths majority vote of the members present when the ordinance is adopted.
