Allows any type of optional employee contributions to be paid through tax-deferred payroll deductions; requires an irrevocable election. (Currently this payment election is authorized only for optional contributions made to qualify for the augmented service retirement pension rate.) Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) HB 3362 would not impact the accrued liability or annual costs of the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund.
