SCH CD-EMPLOYEE-MILITARY DUTY                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the School Code. In a provision concerning a school  board      
   employee   being  mobilized  to  active  military  duty,  removes  the      
   requirement that the mobilization be a  result  of  an  order  of  the      
   President of the United States. Provides that the active military duty      
   shall  not  result  in  the  loss  or  diminishment  of any employment      
   benefit, service credit, or  status  accrued  at  the  time  the  duty      
   commenced  if  the  duty  commenced  on  or  after  September 1, 2001.      
   Effective immediately.
