Senate Sponsors: WELCH-LIGHTFORD Short description: ECON & FISCAL COM-DUTIES Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 and the Illinois Economic and Fiscal Commission Act. Requires that the Director of Central Management Services annually present the Illinois Economic and Fiscal Commission with the rate methodology for health insurance premiums under the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois. Changes from August 1 to September 15 the Commission's deadline for reporting a summary of the fiscal year's appropriations. Removes the requirements that the Commission (i) comply with the Pension Impact Note Act and (ii) issue annual estimates of certain pension funding requirements. Effective immediately.
