House Sponsors: KENNER. Short description: DRUG CLEANSER-PROHIBITS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the Drug Paraphernalia Control Act. Prohibits the sale, offer for sale, gift, exchange, or delivery by a retail establishment of a drug cleanser. Prohibits the possession and use of drug cleansers. Defines a "drug cleanser" as a product that masks, dilutes, or substitutes hair or any bodily fluid to enable a user to produce a false negative result on a drug test. Provides that the driver's license of a person who is convicted of the possession or use of a drug cleanser shall be suspended for a period of 12 months from the date of sentencing.
