HORSE RACE-DELETE RECAP APPROP                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975. Provides  that,  in      
   State  Fiscal  Year 2003, the provision requiring the General Assembly      
   to appropriate money from the General Revenue Fund to  the  Department      
   of  Agriculture  for payment into horse racing purse accounts in years      
   when money is diverted from those purse accounts to licensees does not      
   apply. Effective immediately.
