Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Unified  Code  of  Corrections.   Provides  that   a      
   defendant  convicted  of compelling organization membership of persons      
   in which the organization is a gang may receive only a maximum of  4.5      
   days  of  good conduct credit for each month of his or her sentence of      
   imprisonment.                                                               
          CORRECTIONAL NOTE (Department of Corrections)                        
          HB 5641 would cause an increase of 9 inmates in the corrections      
          population and would have a fiscal impact of $1,740,500.
