DIPPED CIGARETTE PAPER                                                     

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Tobacco Accessories and  Smoking  Herbs  Control  Act.      
   Provides  that  a  person  may  not  knowingly sell, barter, exchange,      
   deliver, or give away  or  cause  or  permit  to  be  sold,  bartered,      
   exchanged,  delivered, or given away to any other person any cigarette      
   wrapping paper or wrapping leaf  that  is,  or  is  held  out  to  be,      
   impregnated or scented with, or aged or dipped in, alcoholic liquor or      
   honey, or both alcoholic liquor and honey.                                  
          HOUSING AFFORDABILITY NOTE (Housing Development Authority)           
          There would be no fiscal effect on a single-family residence.        
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Includes in the prohibition, cigarette  wrapping  paper  that  is      
   fruit-flavored or scented or chocolate or vanilla flavored or scented.      
          FISCAL NOTE (Illinois Department of Corrections)                     
          There will be no corrections or fiscal impact from HB 5909.
