Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Unified  Code  of  Corrections.  Provides  that  the      
   Department of Corrections may not enter into a contract with a private      
   vendor to provide food services for institutions or facilities of  the      
   Department  that  are  operating  before  January  1,  2004. Effective      
   immediately.
