Short description: 
$SUPP-VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Makes appropriations  for  fiscal  year  2003  from  the  General      
   Revenue  Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services, State      
   Board  of  Education,  Department  of  Revenue,  Department  of  Human      
   Services, Department of Corrections, and  Department  of  Public  Aid.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
        Appropriates $7,762,533 from the  General  Revenue  Fund  to  the      
   Illinois  Criminal  Justice  Information  Authority for a grant to the      
   Cook County Treasurer for the Cook County State's  Attorney,  Criminal      
   Appeals  Division,  for  the  hiring  of additional personnel, for the      
   purchase of office supplies and office equipment, and for  the  rental      
   of office space to enable the Cook County State's Attorney's Office to      
   respond  to appellate briefs filed on behalf of criminal defendants in      
   the State of Illinois.                                                      
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
        Appropriates  $55,000,000  (instead  of  $15,000,000)  from   the      
   General  Revenue  Fund  to  the Department of Public Aid for Long Term      
   Care Nursing - Skilled and Intermediate.
